Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a part-time role at our Wisconsin location. The position emphasizes assisting with daily activities, organizing merchandise, and ensuring clean, orderly sales floors and stockrooms.

Responsibilities include helping customers, executing directives, maintaining promotions, handling scheduling and payroll tasks, and aiding in loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience working in retail or store operations is advantageous.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, cash receipts, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized to company standards.
• Protect and secure all store assets, including cash, and follow safety guidelines.
• Support Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
