Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, elevate customer service, and develop the team. You will assist with scheduling, merchandise handling from delivery to floor, opening/closing, loss prevention, and adherence to company policies while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.

This role requires leadership, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store cleanliness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling and cash handling.
• Support loss prevention and protection of store assets.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates to maintain a positive work environment.
