Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a friendly, sales-driven Key Holder to lead store operations and deliver an exceptional in-store experience. You will partner with leadership to drive sales, develop team members, and ensure accurate POS transactions.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail sales experience, strong communication, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. You will help maintain merchandising standards and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories and communicate features and benefits.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, data capture).
• Stay informed on current promotions and ads.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist with floor moves, displays and housekeeping.
• Assist with processing merchandise and replenishing floor stock.
• Complete sales transactions accurately at POS registers.
• Partner with store leadership to develop skills and improve metrics.
• Handle opening/closing procedures and attendance policies.
• Adhere to laws and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
