Responsibilities

• Engage customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience and checkout support
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks
• Mentor and coach team members to meet customer service and sales goals
• Assist in training new staff and cross-training high-potential talent
• Contribute to department scheduling to improve engagement and profitability
• Monitor product freshness and ensure rotation and dating policies are followed
• Lead stock, pricing, and display activities where applicable
• Support safety and food safety standards and operate in a safe manner
• Act in lead capacity in other departments as needed
