Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated TurboTax Retail Experts to join our on-site teams at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide in-person tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support, building long-term client relationships in your local community.

You will engage customers with professional service, participate in local marketing efforts, and leverage TurboTax resources to maximize deductions and refunds while delivering a best-in-class customer

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax return preparation and tax advice for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Utilize resources such as government websites and professional tools to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language.
• Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals.
• Lead local marketing initiatives and build long-term relationships to grow TurboTax client base.
