Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated year-round TurboTax Retail Experts in TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. On-site role, serving in-person customers with TurboTax products and tax expertise.

You will advise customers, prepare simple to complex tax returns, provide planning guidance, and help grow the local TurboTax client base through community engagement.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license.
• PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must wear a TurboTax uniform.

Responsibilities

• Proactively represent TurboTax locally as a public-facing ambassador.
• Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients.
• Lead local marketing efforts and make taxes approachable for the community.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Perform tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer planning advice.
