Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Retail Supervisor to assist the store management in daily operations. You will supervise and lead retail associates, often rotating across categories, ensuring top-notch customer service for customers and donors.

The role requires 2+ years in retail with POS systems, strong customer service skills, and some supervisory experience. This is an hourly, on-site position with a focus on teamwork and safety in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is acceptable but not required.
• At least 2 years of retail experience with POS systems.
• At least 2 years of customer service/retail experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign, guide, coach and train employees while performing the work of a Sales Associates as needed.
• Complete retail operational requirements by scheduling and assigning one or more employees.
• Set expectations, instruct, coach and identify training needs.
• Maintain orderly operations of the store in the absence of the Manager and Assistant.
• Resolve workplace problems by addressing issues that impact employee performance and productivity.
• Ensures excellent customer service is provided to customers and donors.
• Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information.
• Complete projects by planning, organizing and monitoring assignments.
• Promote productivity by following up with employees on work results.
