Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan in Bad Axe is seeking a motivated Retail Supervisor to lead and develop the store team at 780 N. Van Dyke.

The role offers $17.00 per hour, a 20% discount on in-store purchases, monthly bonuses potential, and opportunities for advancement within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to operate a cash register and follow company policy.
• Availability to work full-time and on various shifts.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train store staff.
• Open and close the store according to policy.
• Handle cash register procedures, returns, and cash handling.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and merchandised store environment.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Stock and display merchandise per guidelines.
• Maintain overall store appearance.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise and train store staff.
• Open and close the store according to policy and as directed.
• Assist with procedures related to the cash registers, returns and cash handling.
• Deliver good customer service.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Appropriately handle customer concerns/complaints.
• Stock and return merchandise per company directive.
• Ensure that all merchandise is displayed appropriately.
• Maintain the overall appearance of the store, directing staff as needed.
