Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking an Entry Level Manager for a Full Time Retail Supervisor role at our Bay City Store, 4011 Euclid Ave, Bay City, MI. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a 20% in-store discount and monthly bonus potential.

You will assist in supervising store staff, open/close in the absence of management, and contribute to achieving sales and margin goals while supporting Goodwill's mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of general retail experience preferred.
• Ability to use a cash register and follow Goodwill policies.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Assist in training, motivating, and communicating with store staff

• Lead by example to assure compliance with policies and procedures

• Ability to use cash register and and follow Goodwill policy and procedures
• Ability to work full time; all shift availability and extra shifts as necessary.
• Can you demonstrate strong management skills?
• Can you lift and carry35 pounds with or without help?
• Can youreach, bend or stoop?
• Are you able to stand six to eight hours a day?
• Can you problem solve quickly and efficiently?
• Are youpleasant, cheerful and professional?
• Must have telephone access.
