Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Supervisor to join the Store Leadership Team, overseeing day-to-day operations and guiding associate-level staff in an assigned area. Lead by example to uphold store standards and culture, and ensure exceptional customer experiences in collaboration with the leadership team.

This role requires practical retail experience, strong POS skills, and effective communication with teammates and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (not strictly required).
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar role or specialization.
• Strong ability to operate a Point of Sales (POS) system and in-store computerized systems; proficient with telephone.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day work of associate level staff.
• Provide direction, training, and coaching to associates to ensure efficient store operations and proper procedures.
• Supervise assigned department to manage store profitability through receiving, replenishing, and processing.
• Create and maintain store culture through teamwork and coaching, leading by example.
• Collaborate with store leadership on policies, procedures, and standards for assigned areas.
• Uphold company standards and policies; ensure adherence to procedures and quality standards.
