Job summary

Dollar Tree in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise flow, and help supervise and train store associates.

The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, organized store, delivering excellent customer service, and upholding policies and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store displays and fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Maintain neat, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect company assets and adhere to safety guidelines and policies.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
