Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Saint Petersburg, FL to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help the Store Manager supervise and train staff.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work in a high-energy environment, and a focus on customer service and operational standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet demands of frequent movement
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills required
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain promotional display effectiveness
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention
• Maintain a well-stocked and organized store area
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop store associates
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment
• Keep store clean, restocked, and presentable
• Other duties as assigned*
