Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking a Supervisor to lead our sales team and ensure outstanding customer service at our on-mountain retail location. You will guide staff, uphold store policies, and contribute to a seamless shopping experience for guests this ski season.

The role requires a commitment to early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Seasonal position offers on-mountain housing options and a competitive hourly wage. Join a team passionate about snow sports and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Seasonal role with schedule including weekends and holidays.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months in sales, hospitality, or training of others; 1 year in retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service through greeting, handling transactions, and assisting customers.
• Lead the sales team, ensure policy adherence and efficient store operations.
• Foster a positive team environment and execute opening/closing duties and daily tasks.
• Assist with inventory and merchandising to maintain store quality.
• Maintain shop safety and complete weekly training obligations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service through greeting, phone handling, and efficient POS transactions.


• Foster a positive team environment and enforce operational procedures, including opening/closing and daily duties.


• Communicate effectively with written and verbal instructions, resolve conflicts, and share relevant information.


• Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts, merchandise handling, and monitoring shrinkage.


• Support staff with POS transactions, housekeeping, and merchandising.


• Ensure store quality through restocking and proper product merchandising.


• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and completing weekly training.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience

• 6 months in a position involving sales, hospitality, or training of others.


• 1 year in a retail operation is preferred.


• Basic computer skills are required to complete necessary daily tasks.
