Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking a Seasonal Supervisor to lead our retail sales team at the Snowshoe, West Virginia location. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, managing daily store operations, and coordinating staff during opening and closing shifts.

The ideal candidate has 6 months in sales or hospitality and 1 year in retail preferred, with basic computer skills and a High School Diploma or GED. On-mountain housing and employee perks are available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, hospitality, or training others considered a plus.
• Basic computer skills are required to complete daily tasks.
• Seasonal retail supervisory role, temporary employment tied to the season.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service through greeting, phone handling, and efficient POS transactions.
• Foster a positive team environment and enforce operational procedures, including opening/closing and daily duties.
• Communicate effectively with written and verbal instructions, resolve conflicts, and share relevant information.
• Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts, merchandise handling, and monitoring shrinkage.
• Support staff with POS transactions, housekeeping, and merchandising.
• Ensure store quality through restocking and proper product merchandising.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and completing weekly training.
