Job summary

Goodwill Valleys is seeking a Sales Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Lynchburg store(s). You will coach staff, manage donations, pricing, and checkout processes, and help drive sales while upholding company standards and customer service excellence.

You will report to store leadership, collaborate with management on staffing, safety, and promotional activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to Goodwill policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to successfully complete any assigned Goodwill training within the required period of time upon employment.
• Ability to complete and maintain first aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors, ensuring prompt and courteous service within 10 seconds of entry.
• Lead, train, and coach team members in daily retail operations to support efficiency and adherence to procedures.
• Oversee pricing, sorting, and rotation of merchandise to maintain standards.
• Monitor and ensure proper processing of donations including categorization and movement to sales floor or storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment across all areas of the store.
• Assign and manage cash drawers and ensure cashier balancing procedures.
• Schedule and coordinate team member breaks for continuous floor coverage.
• Track daily sales metrics and production goals; report discrepancies to management.
• Complete daily operational reports including cash transactions and donation volumes.
