Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Rockford, IL is seeking a motivated Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, price merchandise, and help meet daily production goals while supporting community programs. This part‑time role includes paid training and benefits options.

You will work with a team to keep the store organized, process donations, and assist with stock management, with schedules including evenings and weekends.

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock

• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day
• High school diploma or currently pursuing

• Previous retail or thrift store experience
