Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory in Highland MI is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals. You will sort, tag, and price merchandise, track production, move items to the sales floor, and assist with truck receives and loading.

The role requires reliability, basic math and computer skills, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise

• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock

Location: Highland MI Pay: $14.73 - $17.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods , keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help t rack and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to m eet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
• May make bank runs, price items, or cross train in another department
