Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory's Davenport thrift store is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, price merchandise, and keep the store organized while helping meet production goals.

Paid training and ongoing coaching accompany the role, with a supportive leadership team to help you grow in retail and customer service while working a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and lift merchandise.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Preferred: previous retail or thrift store experience.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.
• Help track and report production numbers.
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor.
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock.

Location: Davenport, Iowa Pay: $12.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 20 to 29 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You'll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
