Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor. You will sort, tag, and price donated merchandise, track production, and move items to the sales floor. You’ll also assist with receiving trucks and maintaining clean spaces while collaborating with a team to meet daily goals.

Paid training is provided, with on-the-job coaching. The role offers a mission-driven environment, evenings/weekends included, and employee discounts to support community programs.

Qualifications

• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality expected.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• High school diploma or current pursuit of diploma required.

Location: Centerline MI Pay: $13.37 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
