Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory in Loves Park, IL is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

You will sort, tag, and price merchandise, help track production numbers, move processed items to the sales floor, receive trucks, and maintain clean spaces while working with teammates to hit daily targets.

• Basic math and computer skills for pricing and reporting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Job description

Location: Loves Park, IL Pay: $15.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
