Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, supervise staff, and drive performance. You will help manage schedules, training, and execution of action plans to improve results.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Model core values to foster teamwork and engagement.
• Monitor community competition and inform leadership of necessary adjustments.
• Provide product feedback and recommend new items or discontinue existing ones.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
• Communicate weekly information, milestones, and concerns.
• Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
• Resolve customer concerns in leadership's absence.
• Identify hazards and maintain equipment safety and ergonomics.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper signage.
• Assist with stock levels and product ordering.
• Merchandise products to maximize sales and ensure freshness.
• Assist with payroll and loss prevention efforts.
• Supervise day-to-day team operations and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure assigned responsibilities are completed with high customer service standards.
