Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help with day-to-day activities, merchandise organization, and staff supervision to ensure high standards of service and efficiency.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to lead a team, and physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll and scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
