Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is well-organized and displayed.

The role requires strong communication, leadership potential, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. You will help supervise associates, maintain safety guidelines, and uphold company standards while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide leadership to associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention; payroll/scheduling involvement.
• Maintain clean, stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash and records.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and store policies; train/store associates.
