Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Nampa, Idaho is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, organize merchandise, and help maintain store standards.

You will train and supervise associates, process directives, ensure asset protection, and uphold safety guidelines while delivering friendly service. A high school diploma and prior retail leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates; maintain a safe, respectful environment.
• Ensure cleanliness and compliance with policies and store standards.
