Dollar Tree in Ponderay, Idaho, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with daily store operations, customer service, and team development. This part-time role supports the Store Manager in achieving sales and service goals.

You will help organize merchandise, supervise associates, maintain store presentation, and ensure safety, paperwork, and compliance while delivering a positive shopping experience for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform active duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise and transfer from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store operations and compliance.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll and cash handling.
• Keep store areas well-stocked, neat, and safe.
• Protect company assets, including store cash, and adhere to policies.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
