Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with cash register procedures, stock control, banking, merchandising.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
• Flexible schedule and ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager with managing budgeted sales and expenses.
• Operate cash register accurately and handle cash, checks, receipts, returns, voids, discounts, and credit cards.
• Perform banking procedures, including reconciliation of Daily Business Statements and deposits.
• Train and supervise store employees in retail procedures.
• Display and model excellent customer service.
• Ensure store is maintained in accordance with company policies on housekeeping, safety and security.
• Perform stocking, display, and inventory duties.
• Process merchandise ordering and transportation requests.
• Maintain professional appearance and dress code.
