Job summary

Ross Dress for Less is seeking a Store Manager in Illinois to oversee all store operations, lead the leadership team, recruit and train staff, and drive sales and profitability while maintaining an easy-to-shop environment.

You will manage stockroom, front end, and sales floor, monitor expenses, schedule staffing, and ensure compliance with company standards and policies. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of store management experience in retail.
• Must maintain a high level of customer service.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate to store associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to accomplish goals.
• Fluency in English.
• Independent judgment and discretion, with ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Leads all company best practices to maximize productivity.
• Analyses store reports to evaluate expenses and performance.
• Schedules Associates to meet business objectives.
• Recruits, hires and develops management staff and associates.
