val's services is seeking a Store Operations Manager to oversee daily store activities, recruitment, training, and performance reviews. You will manage staffing, safety, merchandising, and customer service to ensure efficient store processes and a positive shopping experience.

You will analyze sales and operations data, control expenses, and ensure legal compliance while maintaining inventory accuracy and cash handling standards. This role requires hands-on leadership and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, hiring, and team development; knowledge of legal compliance.
• Ability to interpret safety instructions, manuals, and procedures.
• Proficiency in math, cash handling, and POS systems.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and retail operations.
• Physical ability for frequent walking, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, and retain qualified staff in compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Conduct performance reviews, identify development needs, and recommend pay or advancement.
• Maintain store safety, security, and cleanliness standards; open and close the store as needed.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify sales trends, control expenses, and prevent shrinkage.
• Manage inventory levels through ordering, cycle counts, and merchandising practices.
• Ensure merchandise presentation is aligned with company standards and inventory accuracy.
• Enforce cash handling, security, and safety policies; ensure cashier accountability.
• Provide excellent customer service and foster a positive shopping environment.
• Ensure proper store maintenance, equipment availability, and compliance with policies.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
