Job summary

Dick's Sporting Goods is seeking an Assistant Store Manager of Operations to lead store execution, coaching teammates, and driving efficiency. The role focuses on front and back-of-house operations and delivering an exceptional athlete experience.

You will partner with the Store Manager to hire, schedule, coach, and develop a high-performing team, ensure policy compliance, and uphold merchandising and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience.
• 1-3 years of retail management experience or customer-focused experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Store Manager to develop and execute annual business growth plans and forecasting.
• Directly manages a team of Captains (Supervisors) and develops a high-performing, inclusive team.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards and drives store programs and customer service excellence.
• Leads training initiatives and coaching to ensure teammates deliver elevated athlete experiences.
