Job summary

Food Lion Fuquay-Varina store is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to support daily operations, uphold safety and food safety standards, and lead associates to deliver excellent customer service. You will manage scheduling, budgets, inventory and policy adherence while driving sales and maintaining strong store culture.

The role requires a college degree or equivalent and experience as a Department Manager or in a comparable leadership position, with proven ability to manage across multiple

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Good judgment solving problems, making decisions, handling complaints, arbitrating disputes and resolving grievances.
• Desire and ability to lead and manage associates throughout multiple departments.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or will be required to attend company provided training and have the ability to achieve accreditation within the first 90 days of employment. Accreditation must be maintained

• Use company tools like ACIS, scheduling, and reports to manage operations

• Serve as Manager on Duty when Store Manager is absent
