Family Dollar in East Providence, RI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise, and help with payroll and scheduling.

The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and move merchandise from truck to stockroom to floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain displays and promotional fixtures.
• Assist in ordering, damaged merchandise handling, payroll/scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure all assets.
• Supervise and train store associates; ensure a safe, respectful environment.
