Job summary

Family Dollar in Bloomington, IL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. Part-time role with responsibilities spanning opening/closing, merchandising, payroll tasks, and staff training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers with questions in a positive manner.
• Support merchandise transfer from truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties.
• Help train and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
