Job summary

Dollar Tree in Kissimmee, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help supervise daily activities, train associates, and ensure a positive shopping environment.

You will open and close the store, organize merchandise, protect store assets, follow policies, and maintain clean, well-stocked aisles and stockrooms. This at-will role offers growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom to company standards.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe environment and professional interactions with customers and staff.
