Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations, enhance customer service, and develop the team at our Kissimmee location. You will assist with merchandise flow, staffing, and ensuring accurate execution of corporate directives.

Ideal candidates bring retail or grocery leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, safe store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred and the ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform related physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, and record keeping.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized to company standards.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and follow safety policies.
