Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Store Manager-on-Duty to oversee daily store operations, promote excellent customer service, and drive sales and profitability through effective merchandising, inventory control, and expense management.

The role requires leadership to recruit and train staff, manage payroll, and ensure security and compliance, with responsibility in absence of the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in retail preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with POS systems and Eagle Browser.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sales promotions and merchandise displays.
• Recruit, train, and manage staff, assess performance.
• Plan staff schedules and assign duties.
• Monitor inventory and replenish merchandise.
• Ensure security, sales, and recordkeeping compliance.
• Address customer complaints and inquiries.
• Open/close store, including security duties.
• Manage payroll budget and fiscal controls with corporate.
• In the absence of Store Manager, assume store duties.
