Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to team development at our Somersworth location. You will support opening and closing procedures, manage daily tasks, and help organize merchandise while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties including standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Ensure a clean, well-stocked, and presentable store environment.
