The role is non-exempt, hourly, with a path to larger responsibilities based on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail footwear and/or athletic apparel preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet store goals.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on tasks without prompting.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Team-player with passion for customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide knowledge/guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory movement, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability.
• Ensure quality customer service and promote products and services.
• Uphold all company policies, procedures, and standards.
