Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets and implementing action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assuming responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments when needed.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to complete department responsibilities and standards.
• Keep the Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure quality customer service is maintained and promote merchandise, services, and promotions.
• Perform general administrative duties and be trained in Store Manager responsibilities.
