Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and company policies; ensures proper staffing.
• Provides training and conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps and counsels or terminates as needed.
• Makes recommendations on pay rates and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct, and safety expectations; conducts meetings and events to promote safety and policy compliance.
• Manages opening/closing, including minimum staffing and coverage.
• Evaluates operating statements for sales, profitability, and turn; identifies expense-control opportunities.
• Oversees ordering and inventory management to meet in-stock targets; reviews weekly plans.
• Stays aligned with company processes for stocking and merchandising.
• Ensures merchandise is presented per standards; uses fixtures, pricing, and signage properly.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and security of assets; controls damages and shrink.
• Upholds cashier accountability and cash control policies to protect financial integrity.
• Delivers superior customer service leadership.
• Ensures a clean, safe, well-organized store environment.
• Ensures tools and equipment are available to perform tasks.
• Follows SOPs, handbook guidelines, and company communications.
