Job summary

Music & Arts is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead day-to-day sales and operations in our Columbus, OH location, while ensuring outstanding customer service and store presentation. You will coach staff, manage payroll and hiring, and drive sales performance across all accounts and programs.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, promoting music lessons, and ensuring every customer experience reflects our standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• 3-5 years retail experience preferred.
• Musical experience and interest preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Sales team by coaching, counseling, advice, support, motivation or any information needed to help meet sales objectives.
• Stay current on financial data, inventory, and other statistics.
• Ensure all products in the store are available for purchase and displayed appropriately.
• Oversee payroll, recruiting, hiring and training of store employees.
• Execute operational tasks related to institutional sales and rental services for assigned accounts.
• Promote the Music & Arts lesson program and assist teachers.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service to every customer.
• Additional duties as assigned.
