Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking a motivated individual for a Full Time Retail Store Manager in Training in our Birch Run store and surrounding areas. You will oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and work to achieve monthly and yearly retail goals.

The role offers $20/hour with monthly bonus potential and a 20% in-store employee discount, plus comprehensive benefits. Travel to multiple sites within ~50 miles may be required; readiness to lift 35 pounds and

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of management or supervisory experience required.
• At least one year of general retail, production or customer service experience required.
• Must have telephone access.
• Must have a valid Michigan driver's license.
• Willing and able to travel to multiple work sites up to 50 miles or 1.5 hours from home store.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds and reach, bend or stoop.
• Able to stand 6–8 hours daily and operate a pallet jack.
• Strong problem solving and professional demeanor expected.

• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to achieve monthly and yearly retail goals.
• Assist in increasing sales per square foot through pricing and merchandise management.
• Assist in increasing revenue through retail program management and resource utilization.
• Properly price, display and maintain merchandise.
• Increase donations by handling donated goods.
• Assist in hiring, training and communicating with store employees.
