Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is hiring Full-Time Retail Associates for our Birch Run store in the Birch Run Outlet Center. The role pays $15.00 per hour plus benefits and includes a 20% discount on in-store purchases.

Essential duties include assisting in maximizing store sales, providing prompt customer service, cashier responsibilities, processing and pricing merchandise, and maintaining a clean, organized shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible shifts as assigned.
• Able to lift and carry 35 pounds with or without help.
• Able to stand six to eight hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maximizing store sales and profitability.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer/donor service.
• Cashier duties: operate cash register and sales functions per policy.
• Process, price, and display merchandise according to policy and standards.
• Greet donors, assist with donations, and maintain records.
• Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, restrooms, and breakroom; ensure safety with gloves where required.
