Job summary

Atwoods Ranch is seeking a store leader in Hutchinson, KS to drive a high-performance team and deliver sales and profitability targets. You’ll ensure brand standards, oversee merchandising, and coach staff in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail management preferred.
• Typing emails, letters and drafting pertinent business plans as necessary
• Review reports such as P & L’s, sales/margin reports, merchandise reports, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team to achieve and exceed goals for sales, profit, expenses, shrink, etc.
• Merchandise the store to company guidelines that drive sales and build the brand.
• Learn, teach, and execute directives such as ONE TEAM ONE DIRECTION.
• Manage safety, security, housekeeping, and facility maintenance.
• Recruit, hire, on-board, train, mentor, coach and conduct annual reviews.
• Review P&L and department sales reports; monitor inventory and pricing.
• Budget planning, scheduling, and meeting business goals.

Job description

Lead and manage a team to achieve and exceed goals for sales, profit, expenses, shrink, etc.

Lead in a way that creates an environment for your store to be a “GREAT PLACE TO WORK AND A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP”. See the company plan on how best to achieve this.

Merchandise the store to company guidelines that drive sales and build the brand.

Learn, teach, and execute our “ONE TEAM ONE DIRECTION” directives.

Manage company priorities such as safety, security, housekeeping, and facility maintenance.

Build your team through the company direction for recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, training, task management, mentoring, coaching and annual reviews.

Learn and apply knowledge on reviewing P & L’s sales reports, departmental sales reports, etc.

Operate within our existing processes and procedures including researching products in our inventory management system, POS, and scheduling to meet the business and budget demands.

Conduct price changes, signage requirements, ad setting and other in store pricing and marketing programs.

Model the right behavior on time and attendance, work ethic and tasks in general.

Be a team player and assist others within the company as needed with a positive attitude.

Communicate in a professional and respectful manner to both internal and external partners.

Follow the employee handbook guidelines.

Qualifications and educational requirements:
