Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Management Trainee in Houston, TX to develop leadership skills and gain hands-on management experience in retail operations.

You will learn customer service, inventory control, and team development while working with a diverse range of merchandise, including jewelry and electronics. The role offers an hourly wage of $13.00–$17.00 plus commission and potential store performance bonuses, with typical hours from 9AM–6PM and opportunities for earned wage

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year minimum leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and help create a customer-focused environment.
• Learn and support all aspects of daily store operations.
• Assist with coaching, training, and developing team members.
• Support recruiting and talent development efforts.
• Open and close the store while following asset protection and cash handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Help drive store performance by supporting sales, loan, and profitability goals.
• Learn how to analyze business results and support operational decision-making.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories.
• Complete management training and development assignments.
