Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with goals and profits.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with multiple tasks and precision.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling assets and store operations.
• Confer with Store Manager on action plans for selling, stocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Serve as acting store lead in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure high-quality customer service and adherence to company policies.
• Perform general administrative duties and training aligned with Store Manager responsibilities.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service and promote store services and merchandise.
• Support and uphold all company manuals and internal policies.
• Protect assets and report potential fraud risks to management.
