Job summary

AutoZone’s Store Management team seeks a Store Manager in Training in Jacksonville, TX. This transitional role prepares you for a Retail Store Management position through hands-on leadership training, customer service excellence, and operational expertise. Within 8-12 weeks, you could advance to management based on performance and prior experience.

You'll develop skills in staffing, mentoring, and supervising, while delivering WOW! customer service in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 Year: 1-2 years of prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Flexible Schedule: Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead leadership development and deliver WOW customer service.
• Maintain clear communication with employees and customers to drive store execution and performance.
• Learn to manage, analyze, and reconcile monthly Profit & Loss statements to optimize store profitability.
• Support store operations, ensure compliance with policies, and uphold structured training processes.
• Assist with staffing, mentoring, and training employees to develop a strong, successful team.
• Take charge of customer service activities, ensuring outstanding experiences and resolving concerns proactively.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, store merchandising, and sales strategies to maximize success.
• Complete management skills training, learning key aspects of store operations and AutoZone culture.
