Job summary

Carter's is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Green Bay, WI to lead a guest‑centric sales floor and develop a high‑performing team. You will drive customer engagement, coaching, and daily operations to deliver outstanding service and results.

You will support staffing, training, and merchandising execution while ensuring policies are followed and store standards are maintained. This role requires flexibility for shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed and stand for extended periods.
• Provide availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays with at least two closing shifts a week.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles, features and benefits.
• Coach staff to uphold service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
• Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results using company tools.
• Partner with Store Manager to plan merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
• Reduce loss through consistent customer service, education, and operational controls.
