Job summary

Goodwill-Suncoast in St. Pete-Gandy is seeking a Retail Store Processing Lead to support the store manager in daily operations at the Gandy Store.

This is a working supervisory role involving directing tasks, delegating assignments, and performing essential duties such as training staff, maintaining strong customer and donor relations, and ensuring timely reporting. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of retail experience with customer contact and supervisory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum six months of retail experience with customer contact and supervisory duties.
• Experience with merchandising and cash register transactions.
• Subject to alcohol and drug testing and criminal history checks.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise employees.
• Maintain good customer and donor relations.
• Complete and submit sales and processing reports.
• Load and unload trucks or trailers as needed.
• Assist with sorting, cleaning, categorizing, sizing and pricing.
• Answer phone calls, route information, take messages, and provide excellent customer service.
• Sign-up and register community service workers at the store location and forward paperwork to the Gandy Hub for approval.
• Create new or replacement signs and employee name tags.
