Qualifications

• Experience managing a retail store or equivalent leadership role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling, safety and compliance processes.
• Ability to recruit, hire, train, and coach staff while following legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure the store is properly staffed.
• Train employees, conduct performance evaluations, and handle terminations if needed.
• Make compensation and advancement recommendations for staff.
• Set clear performance, conduct and safety expectations; lead safety and policy meetings.
• Ensure the store is staffed and opened/closed each day.
• Analyze operating statements to identify trends, expenses and shrinkage.
• Place orders to meet in-stock targets and review weekly inventory plans.
• Stock and stage merchandise efficiently per company processes.
• Present merchandise correctly with pricing and signage.
• Maintain accurate inventory and cash controls; minimize damages.
• Ensure cashier accountability and security practices.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment.
• Ensure necessary tools are available for tasks.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; complete paperwork on time.
