Dollar General in New Iberia, LA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, organized store with a customer-first approach. You will assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings and daily store tasks under the Store Manager’s guidance.

You will also handle cashiering, merchandise presentation, inventory control, and deposits, contributing to profitability and loss prevention while providing excellent service to shoppers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year retail experience and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist customers; operate cash register and scanner.
• Open/close store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; control damages and markdowns.
• Planogram adherence; merchandise presentation.
• Cash control, refunds, deposits.
• Assistant store management in Manager's absence.
